Background
In the 21stcentury world, societies are adapting rapidly to technological advancements and demographic shifts, impacting lifestyles, cultural traditions, and behaviors of people. Consequently, health and healthcare systems are intertwined with social and economic factors. Managing health issues or developing healthcare systems necessitates addressing social contexts and cultural diversities, emphasizing public awareness for health maintenance, fostering community participation in healthcare system management, innovating healthcare technologies, such as utilizing technology for patient care, developing practical education models, and presenting effective healthcare approaches for global health now and in the future.
The Thai Nurses Honor Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Phi Omega-at-large Chapter, established in 2012, aims to gather nursing knowledge and facilitate learning exchange nationally and internationally. Recognizing the importance of nursing education management, efficient research aligned with national and international policies, and leadership development in both educational and practical aspects, they understand the crucial role of nursing leaders in guiding organizations toward excellence in education, supporting research and nursing innovation.
In 2023, the Faculty of Nursing, Chulalongkorn University, chaired the 15th annual academic conference, providing a platform for educational institution administrators, nursing faculty, nursing management executives, professional nurses, and nursing students to learn and understand research reflections and nursing education management concepts for sustainable health development.
In 2024, the Faculty of Nursing, Chulalongkorn University, continues to host the annual conference under the theme "Innovations in Nursing Research and Education for Global Health and Well-Being."
